There are quite a few animal charities and organisations dotted around the island that provide refuge for animals that have been abandoned by previous owners or abused in some way.
They also offer ways to adopt animals or sponsor them to make their lives better.
We hope that by providing this list, more people will be made aware of them and offer to help in whatever way they can.
