I was going to take this all the way to Los Cristianos in one go, mainly because I have yet to find a reliable bus service from Palm Mar and walking to the bus stop at the roundabout on the main route is almost as far as finishing off in LC, but also because the second leg can be a bit more energetic for some of the readers.
So I’ve split the journey taking in the lighthouse at Rasca on the way.
Starting in Las Galletas walk West past the marina and out onto the dunes to pick up the level path staying close to the waters edge.
Past the banana plantations you will get the first sight and onward path to Faro de Rasca. Once past the red and white lighthouse, stick to the coast and follow the footpath through the colourful cactus spurge and wax plants, Palm Mar is only a short walk further on.
