This leg can be easily added to the Pt. 1 as it is quite short and is almost entirely wheelchair friendly pavement so can be done easily. We pick up the route overlooking Playa Amarilla on Calle de la Te and we follow this until it reaches Calle Diana.
At the time of writing, the coastal path was blocked and in disrepair; it would be nice to think that it will reopen at some point in the future but, for the moment, stay with the pavement turning left onto Calle Polifermo and follow this round to the Ten-Bel Shopping Centre turning left again onto the main road (TF- 652) straight on until you come to the promenade at Las Galletas where there are cafés and restaurants aplenty.
